DICK, Avery—b. Nov. 15, 1914, La Harpe, Kans.; d. May 25, 2012, Loveland, Colo. He served as a pastor in Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri, and North Dakota. He also served as a missionary in China and the Philippines. He taught at Kingsway College and Canadian Union College, Canada; and Mountain View College, Philippines. He is survived by one daughter, Ardis; three brothers, Willis, Elwin, and Clyde; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

ELKINS, Louise Andersen—b. May 2, 1915, Seattle, Wash.; d. Mar. 3, 2012, Orlando, Fla. She served with her husband, Bert, as a missionary in Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Honduras, as well as in refugee camps in Thailand. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Ottai, Darleen Handal, and Nancy Jean Birmele; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

FREEMAN, S. Berkeley—b. Sept. 19, 1942, Welch, W.Va.; d. Sept. 18, 2011, Kettering, Ohio. He served as a teacher in the Mansfield and Cincinnati, Ohio, junior academies. He also served as an area representative for Christian Record Services. He is survived by his wife, Stella.

GREEN, Robert C.—b. Nov. 11, 1935, Washington, D.C.; d. Feb. 25, 2012, Altamonte Springs, Fla. He served as manager of Florida Hospital Credit Union. He is survived by his wife, Daphine; one son, Robert, Jr.; one daughter, Gina Mixon; one sister, Peggy Tompkins; and five grandchildren.

GRELLMANN, Friedrich Georg—b. Apr. 20, 1922; Falkenstein im Vogtland, Germany; d. May 20, 2012, Walla Walla, Wash. He served as a missionary to South Africa, Burundi, and Rwanda. He also pastored churches in Canada, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Washington. He is survived by his wife, Charleene; four sons, Erwin, David, Dietmar, and Reinhold; one daughter, Evelyn Boyd; one sister, Johanne Lusky; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

JUSTIN, Melvin—b. Mar. 16, 1939, Pakistan; d. Mar. 24, 2012, Weslaco, Texas. He served as a teacher in Pakistan Adventist Seminary, a pastor in Peshawar, and as a chaplain in Karachi Hospital. He served as a chaplain at Ranger Park Hospital and Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Nihar; one son, Jimmy; one daughter, Julie; two brothers; three sisters; and five grandchildren.

MILLER, Henry R.—b. Feb. 15, 1930, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; d. May 18, 2012, Mesa, Ariz. He served as a teacher in Easton Church School in Pennsylvania and Thunderbird Elementary in Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Anna; one son, Hugh R.; and two grandchildren.

MUIR, Wellesley Walter—b. Oct. 28, 1926, Santa Barbara, Calif.; d. Apr. 30, 2012, Fresno, Calif. He served as mission president in the Lake Titicaca Mission, as well as youth director for the Central Peru Mission, the Inca Union Mission, and the Bermuda Mission. He pastored in California, and was chaplain for the Bangkok Adventist Hospital School of Nursing. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Gail Giebel and Gladys Muir; one brother, Don; and two grandchildren.

ROUSE, Raymond—b. in Elm Creek, Nebr.; d. Mar. 7, 2012, Avon Park, Fla. He served as treasurer in the Oklahoma, Indiana, Illinois, and Minnesota conferences. He was also cofounder and manager of the Heartland Granary in Avon Park, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; one son, Arden; one daughter, Darla Erhard; two sisters, Wilma Gromer and Dorothy Huenergardt; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

SCHOMBURG, William M.—b. Feb. 9, 1924, Columbus, Ga.; d. Apr. 17, 2012, Lawrenceburg, Tenn. He served as a pastor in West Virginia, a teacher in the Potomac Conference, and a librarian at Cedar Lake Academy, Newbold College, and Southern Adventist University. He is survived by two sons, Walter and Lloyd; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

SHEPARD, James A.—b. June 20, 1924, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; d. Oct. 20, 2011, Lecanto, Fla. He served as principal at Greater Miami Academy, Mount Pisgah Academy, and Campion Academy, as well as several junior academies. He is survived by his wife, Winnona; one son, Mark; and one brother, Dick.

SKINNER, Jeannie—b. Apr. 8, 1947, Manchester, N.H.; d. Feb. 22, 2012, Atlanta, Ga. She served as a teacher at Twin Tiers Adventist Academy, Cedar Brook School, Sandia View Academy, Greater Houston Adventist Academy, Enterprise Academy, and Atlanta Adventist Academy. She is survived by her husband, Ron; two sons; one sister; four grandchildren.

STRICKLAND, Frank E.—b. May 30, 1925, San Bernardino, Calif.; d. Mar. 2, 2012, Spartanburg, S.C. He served in Rwanda, central Africa. He also worked as an anesthesiologist in Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Faye Mixon; one daughter, Peggy Sue Norton; two brothers, John and David; two sisters, Ruth Spikens and Mary Pieratt; and two grandchildren.
