GLOW Stories
Giving light to our world—GLOW—is an outreach initiative in multiple North American Division conferences based on the concept of church members carrying Adventist literature with them wherever they go and handing it out—free of charge—at every opportunity. Here are two short stories of lives touched by GLOW:

Story 1 
A man named Tony, who lives in California, has developed an ingenious way of passing out GLOW tracts. He simply takes his trained one-legged cockatoo for a walk. People, especially children, love to come to Tony and pet the bird. When they do, the bird gives them a GLOW tract that he carries in his beak. They all, of course, accept the tracts

Story 2 
Recently an Alaskan pastor of another denomination picked up a GLOW tract in the parking lot of a restaurant. After reading it, he called the number of the GLOW office printed on the tract and requested Bible studies. When an Adventist pastor went to visit him, he learned that the man had attended an Adventist evangelistic series several years before and had been interested in Bible prophecy ever since. The other pastor was so excited about the studies that he arranged to have the Adventist pastor study not only with him but also with his associate pastor and his entire church congregation.
