HODDE, Erwin F.—b. June 29, 1918, Cincinnati, Ohio; d. July 19, 2009, Greeneville, Tenn. He served as a health-care provider in Ohio, Florida, California, and Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; and sister, Alice Robbins.
HOFMANN, Dorothy June “Dottie”—b. July 12, 1927, Nevada, Iowa; d. Mar. 19, 2010, Sunland, Calif. She served as a teacher at Glendale Adventist Elementary and also as a teacher’s aide at Redding Adventist Academy. She is survived by sons Wally, Larry, and Gary; daughters Sherry Rincon, Judy Hofmann, Kathleen Nordland, and Cynthia Dickinson; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
HUNT, Roger W.—b. July 12, 1919, Bravo, Mont.; d. June 8, 2009, Avon Park, Fla. He served at Antillean College in Puerto Rico. He is survived by his wife, June; son, Dennis; and one grandchild.
HUTTON, Barbara Aileen Twiggs—b. Aug. 21, 1927, Gentry, Ark.; d. Dec. 9, 2009, Grants Pass, Oreg. She served
as a nurse in California, and as director of nursing in Hong Kong, Pakistan, and Oregon. She is survived by sons David and Daniel; daughters Sharon Coupland and Elizabeth
Poublan; and nine grandchildren.
KYAMBADDE, Stanley B.—b. July 21, 1927, Namulesa-Kyaggwe, Uganda; d. Feb. 7, 2010, Kampala, Uganda. He served as principal of Kakoro Seventh-day Adventist Primary School and Katikamu Secondary School, district leader in Fort Portal, pastor at Makerere and
Najjanankumbi churches, executive director of Central Uganda Field, and president of the Uganda Union. He is survived by his wife, Edisa; sons Samwiri Lule, David Keyune, and Musa Ssemanda; daughters Eseza Nakazibwe and Lusi Dmulira; and seven grandchildren.
LING, Irene—b. July 22, 1917, Kulangsu, China; d. Apr. 6, 2010, Loma Linda, Calif. She worked at the Review and Herald Publishing Association and Washington Adventist Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Timothy; son, Ben; daughter, Julia Miller; and one grandchild. MEDFORD, R. Foster—b. Apr. 6, 1923, Coleman, Mich.; d. Dec. 29, 2009, Grants Pass, Oreg. He served as a teacher, minister, and conference youth director in the Michigan, Greater New York, Southern New England, and Carolina conferences. He was a missionary in Africa and Taiwan. He also served as a chaplain at Washington Adventist Hospital. He was predeceased by his first wife, Eda. He
is survived by his wife Loweta; son, Charles; daughters Glenda Medford and Gloria Cooper; brothers Robert, Lester, and Ronald; sister, Barbara Hamlin; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
